Our flagship hammock, the Switchback 1.9 DL is the most durable hammock on the market. Versatility played a big role in the design of the Switchback. It is packed with features that allow you many options in the back country:
The body is made from 1st quality 1.9 oz. sq. yd. ripstop nylon with a DWR finish. Each end of the Switchback body has a channel sewn in, triple stitched for strength & durability (the Liner is also sewn into the channel).
If bugs are a problem, just zip up the net, if not tie it up out of the way for maximum ventilation & star gazing. This also allows use of the PeaPod & PolarPod. The bug net is made of noseeum and has two dual tab sliders w/corded pulls on each side, allowing entry/exit from either side. You can park the pulls where you want for easy location, entry & exit. The bug net has two suspension points for the shock cord suspension and has 4 outside loops on both ends allowing use of, if desired, spreader bars (not included, see our "how to" pages) that maximize interior space and headroom.
We have included two 10" x 12" storage bags made from noseeum that will hold a water bottle, headlamp, glasses, book etc. They are located so that they are in the same place regardless of which end your head is at. There are also two D rings sewn into the peaks for attachment of a pillow, clothes bag etc.
Our taffeta liner is very comfortable against the skin and provides a pocket for a pad of your choice (CC foam, self inflating, Down air mattress). You can also use the pocket to store a fleece top or a light jacket for quick access.
Tie Out Points
There are four tie out points strategically placed to maximize interior space. The tie out points at the L shoulder & R ankle accentuate the diagonal lay and the other two will open up the hammock completely. They also act as anchor points for the PolarPod, ensuring perfect placement every time. They also work with many underquilts on the market today. The tie out points are also used when the hammock is set up in "ground mode".

We highly recommend our Ring Buckle Assembly & Tree Straps. The Ring Buckle Assembly was designed for our hammocks, cinching the channel ends perfectly and providing strength & durability. It also functions as end anchor points when set up in "ground mode". Our Tree Straps are a perfect compliment to the Ring Buckles and are available in three different lengths.

I have a lot of camping experience accumulated over my 57 years of life, have slept on every kind of pad, mattress, on top of ice bergs, solid rock, pine needle bed and others. My friend has been raving about how much she loves her camping hammoch (other brand) so I began researching. Three weeks, reading reviews and specs. My priorities were comfort, durability, rain and mosquito protection, AND I did NOT want something made in China. My wife has a small business and I try to support such when I can. I almost ordered a Warbonnett BB, but then read several reviews who liked the Tree to Tree over the BB and TtT is a smaller company. I called and spoke to one of the TtT guys and he was very helpful, didn't try to rush me and I felt I could def trust him. So, I received my hammoch just a few days after ordering it. With no experience in setting them up, it took me about 5 minutes to completely set it up, the tree straps and D ring straps are a snap and the netting cords are really easy. I grabbed a couple little skinny sticks and easily slipped them into the little outer loops on the bug net, snap! I slipped a closed cell pad between the layers, popped in my sleeping bag, and had a VERY comfortable sleep that night! The bad: for 220 dollars, it's a bit on the high end, but I don't mind paying for American quality. That said, it really should have included the D ring straps and the tree straps as well, to make us pay extra for those felt like they were being less than honest in posting the 220 price. Just put together everything one needs and tell me the cost, in one figure....having these two extras which one really do need, felt less than fully honest in advertising. And you include TWO cords to stake down the left shoulder and right hip, but no cords for the other two tie out loops? Most, if not all, of the others I looked at were complete, everything you needed, for the advertised price. On that same subject, the rain fly I received looks like its really well made. But, it's still just a couple sheets of nylon sewed together with reinforced edging. For 170 dollars, you couldn't have included the cords needed to hang it up and stake it down? For an over 400 dollars package, I don't feel I should have to run out to Lowes to get all the little things you didn't include.
Again, I am REALLY happy with my hammoch's quality and comfort AND I will highly recommend it to friends, and have already posted pics and high words of praise on Facebook. It's a small thing, but from a customer satisfaction point of view, not including everything we need to use your products, after we pay a premium price, leaves an unpleasant taste in my mouth.

...the quality and performance of the hammocks were outstanding. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a lightweight, versatile shelter that can be used in literally any environment. The quick, easy set up not only saves energy but allows you to maximize your time when in the back country and focus more on what you are there for, whether that be recreation or work. Thanks Dale.
This review was taken from an email we received from Clint. It actually covers the Switchback 1.9 Double Layer Hammock and the Speer 1.9 Single Layer Hammock.
